Functions and Responsibilities

The Civil Works Department is responsible for:

• Construction, repairing, and extension of buildings.

• Maintenance of Inspection Bungalows (IBs).

• Maintenance of residential quarters and other departmental buildings.

• Construction of roads, footpaths, water tanks, ring wells, and other public infrastructure.
