Responsibilities

The Legislative Department is responsible for:
a) Enactment and amendment of Acts, Rules, and Regulations.
b) Nomination of Members to the District Council.
c) Ensuring the welfare of all Members of the District Council.

The department is headed by:

• Chairman

• Deputy Chairman

• Secretary

• Superintendent

• Upper Divisional Assistant (UDA)

• Lower Divisional Assistants (LDAs)
